AL- Shiddi Group (SG) is one of the major Saudi Businesses, which is founded in 1975 in Riyadh. The group commence in construction business by building residential units to cope with the pace of urban development boom at the time. The group built a factory to manufacture building blocks and ready-mixed concrete and broken products to meet its demand of these materials for the growing contraction business. The group entered the agricultural sector in a bid to achieve the Saudi Arabian target of self-sufficiency of agricultural crops, particularly wheat. In view of the local availability of petrochemicals at fair market prices, the group constructed a factory for manufacturing plastic nets and threads. The commercial activity of the group includes importing and selling inputs of agricultural production, and spare parts producing and marketing seeds and agricultural machinery. The Group also owns a feed mill rotting factory to cater for the growing demand of the groups agricultural investments. Operations of the group have gone transnational through Al-Shiddi International (SI).

Agricultural products sector:
Shiddi Agriculture Establishment is a member of Al- SHIDDI GROUP that was founded in 1986. It in one of the major agricultural institutions active in Saudi Arabia. It own cultivated area that exceeds 8000 hectare, distributed from Wadi Al- Dawaser in the south, to wadi sarhan, Al Jouf in the north, passing by Al-Washm region. These areas of land are served with more than 150 pivots and, pre than 250 employees and workers. Products include grains, feeds, vegetables and untraditional crops.

Other Divisions:
The group conducts other various economic activities in industrial, real estate sectors, and international investment:

1. Shiddi contracting: The oldest activity in the group. It is concerned with purchasing and developing real estate, opening and closing real estate sharing project, with long experience in constructing building block and leasing them to others;
2. Factory of Ready-Mixed concrete and Broken products: an Affiliate factory that produces Grade I concrete and blocks to supply them to construction projects.
3. Shiddi Treading: a branch that imports and sells agricultural production inputs, and spare parts markets seeds and crops, and hires agricultural machines and equipment.
4. The Saudi Factory for plastics Nets: a division that manufactures PVC and PE packaging irrigation pipes, and the bounding and handing threads that are used in agricultural projects
5. Shiddi Feed Mill Plant: This factory was founded according to the recent ultra-modern technology to assure high quality production conforming to international standards, Annual production capacity touches 96,000 tons of animal feeds, including sheep, camels, horses, and cows for fattening, breeding or milking; and


6. Shiddi International: A subsidiary company with headquarters in uk and activities in real estate business.
